Connect a Laptop or Desktop Computer to a TV Easily

4) DVI: Digital Video Interface provides better quality than the VGA connector. Most laptops and HDTVs these connections. As the name implies, this type of connection may be used only with digital TV. Also like the previous two, DVI connection also requires the use of an audio cable audio work.

Step 3: After connecting the two devices, on the TV, select the external input and the TV is connected to the computer. This may be HDMI1 or AV1 It depends on how you connect. This is very similar to how you select the input from your DVD player.

Important: If your computer does not recognize the external monitor, you must start your computer before you connect the TV.
